Based on user questions, here are more details about the upcoming expanded data sharing with Metrolist:
Will I still need to enter my listings into both systems? No. When the full exchange is integrated, you will only need to enter your listing once and that data will be shared with the other MLS.
Will my listing look the same on both systems? No. Each MLS system will integrate and display listing information in accordance with their own business decisions. IRES plans to present the information in a format already familiar to our users.
Once everything is integrated, can I choose to subscribe to only one MLS system, instead of both? Yes, that is your option. One of the goals of data sharing is to cut costs for brokers by allowing them to subscribe to only one MLS system. Once integration is complete, we suggest you weigh the options including cost, ease of use, system functions and other services, and then make an independent business decision as to which system you would like to use. Of course, we hope you will choose IRES and take advantage of all our system has to offer!

So what does this mean to data feed subscribers? Will there be a change in format / fields? When will all of Metrolists listings be available in the IRES data feed?
As IRES changes, adds and deletes fields we will update our IDX download as necessary. At this time, the Data Sharing Agreement does not include permission for either MLS to include shared listings in their IDX feed. So, the feeds will remain unchanged at this point. Thanks for your question!
I am a Denver realtor.
I have a listing at 3100 S. Buttercup Cir in Frederick, CO that is NOT showing on IRES according to a Realtor I know in Ft. Collins.
He conversely has a listing in Denver that only shows up on PRIME ACCESS MLS (and not MYMLS, which most Denver Realtors use
for searches.)
Does IRES have 2 separate ways to search for properties too?
Why does his show up here (at least on PrimeAccess) but mine does not pull up on IRES (or PRIME ACCESS IRES????)
Denver MLS has said they will eventually do away with MYMLS which will solve the problem of not seeing all listings.
How does one tell if their listing will show up in both locations?
Denver agents were lead to believe all listings would show up on the new combined MLS/IRES.
