Metrolist integration into "Quick Search"

Integration of Metrolist and Pikes Peak listings continues on IRESis....on Quick Search, now select which MLS(s) you'd like to search within. The History links will automatically remember which MLS you had selected.
Remember: If you search by certain MLS numbers every day, go to Listing Search instead, select the MLS's desired, enter the MLS#'s, and SAVE them. Then, open that search each day and simply click "Search" to find any changes to those listings.
Do you have an integration idea? If so, please leave us a comment!

Tweaks for searching Metrolist and Pikes Peak listings

Today we replaced the "Include CCM Listings" checkbox on our main search screen with the names of the three MLSs you can search within: IRES, Metrolist or Pikes Peak. Select one or multiple MLSs, depending on your needs.

At this time, we prompt you to select the MLS(s) you'd like to search within so we can display which search fields are available. This is critical in order for you to receive accurate results. As we integrate additional Metrolist fields, we will continually revamp the search screen to provide intuitive and defined search capabilites.

AS DATA INTEGRATION UNFOLDS - WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU?

The data integration project is hefty but within reach, and will be rolled out gradually. With that in mind, we want to hear from you. What do you consider to be the highest priority that should be addressed sooner rather than later? Examples may include:

  • More fields displayed. If this is your top choice, tell us which ones.
  • More searchable fields. Again, tell us which fields or features are important to you.
  • Different report formats. Give us as many specifics as you can.
  • Other -- You tell us what you have in mind.

User feedback has always been the backbone of IRESis.com. Let us know your thoughts on this important issue.

MOVING TO MLS OF CHOICE

February begins comprehensive data exchange between IRES and Metrolist. Each MLS will make independent business decisions regarding the pace and extent of the data integration, but this moves the region into an era of “MLS of choice”. What does that mean to you? With expanded data exchange, brokers will have access to thorough information on both MLS systems, therefore, you will be able to choose one MLS system based on cost, ease of use, system functions, customer service, etc.

IRES plans a gradual integration of the expanded data sharing and although February marks the beginning of expanded data exchange it does not necessarily mean that all new fields will be displayed and searchable as soon as the exchange happens. Here is what's on the horizon:

Listing information will be shared for these listing types:
  • Residential
  • Attached
  • Income
  • Land

Listing information to be shared by status:
